The Diocese of Columbus Vocations Office and Wilderness Outreach are sponsoring a discernment campout weekend for fathers and sons, October 15-17 at Tar Hollow State Park. Open to young men 7th grade and older and their fathers (or a father figure).
The theme of the weekend is Priesthood is Manhood and Manhood is Priesthood: A Discernment Weekend. The weekend will include camping, hiking, trail work, prayer and worship, and discussions around the campfire about the meaning of manhood and the priesthood.
All participants must supply their own eating utensils, tents, pads, and sleeping bags. Food will be supplied. Space is limited and will be closed at 20 total participants. Cost is $25 per participant. All boys must be accompanied by a father or father figure. All adult men are required to be Protecting God’s Children certified.
